Be part of our successful well established agency, committed to providing a nurturing and educational environment for children. Working on a flexible zero hour contract you will be working for clients with emergency daily bookings. Earnings vary up to \u00a315.50ph per hour and we require you to be available at least 2 days per week. Days and times can vary subject to requirements.<\/p>\n<h2>Job Specification for Emergency Nanny Agency Worker:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Must be UK Resident<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">A current children&#8217;s workforce DBS on the update service (we can process one for you if not)<\/span><\/li>\n<li>A current Paediatric First Aid certificate<\/li>\n<li>Min L2 Safeguarding Training (we can offer this free of charge if needed)<\/li>\n<li>Minimum 2 full years sole charge nanny experience proven through references. Childcare experience is essential, but qualifications are not.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>What we offer a Emergency Nanny Agency Worker:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Excellent hourly rate well<\/li>\n<li>Weekly pay in arrears<\/li>\n<li>Flexibility around your weekly available days (they do not need to be the same every week)<\/li>\n<li>No Umbrella company fees<\/li>\n<li>Workplace Pension Scheme<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Emergency Nanny Agency Worker Role Responsibilities:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>feed, bath and dress children, and change babies&#8217; nappies<\/li>\n<li>teach basic social skills and hygiene<\/li>\n<li>provide a safe setting for children<\/li>\n<li>help children to learn through play<\/li>\n<li>take children on outings to widen their experiences (subject to request)<\/li>\n<li>do nursery and school runs (subject to request)<\/li>\n<li>organise play opportunities to help children mix with others (subject to request)<\/li>\n<li>prepare healthy meals and snacks\/dispensing medication (medication subject to request)<\/li>\n<li>tidy up and clean rooms used by the children<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">keep records for the family<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 class=\"x_elementToProof\">Personal Specification:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<div class=\"x_elementToProof\">Minimum 21 years of age<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div class=\"x_elementToProof\">Minimum 2 years sole charge nanny experience<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div class=\"x_elementToProof\">Patience and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div class=\"x_elementToProof\">Be flexible and open to change<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div class=\"x_elementToProof\">Excellent verbal communication skills<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div class=\"x_elementToProof\">Active listening skills<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div class=\"x_elementToProof\">Ability to understand people\u2019s reactions<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div class=\"x_elementToProof\">Thinking and reasoning skills<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div class=\"x_elementToProof\">Able to carry out basic tasks on a computer or hand-held device<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div class=\"x_elementToProof\">Experience working with early years age group up to c. 11 years<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div class=\"x_elementToProof\">Interactive &#8211; Being playful, smiling and chatting with the children<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div class=\"x_elementToProof\">Patience &#8211; Give the children time to get to know you and to have a go at practicing their knowledge and skills<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div class=\"x_elementToProof\">Empathy &#8211; Think about how the children are feeling in different situations<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div class=\"x_elementToProof\">Initiative &#8211; Engage with the children and help keep the home tidy<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>You can also send your current CV via email to <a href=\"kl@megalorecruit.co.uk\">kl@megalorecruit.co.uk<\/a>, if you are interested in this position.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><em><i>Megalo Recruit supports a huge number of nursery and preschool settings across London and the Home Counties, all offering great prospects and opportunities.
