Megalo Recruit is looking for qualified level 3 or above Senior Nursery Practitioner to join a nursery in Amersham, Buckinghamshire. Salary £28,000pa.

Job Specification for Senior Nursery Practitioner:

• Salary £28,000pa depending upon experience
• Preschool room or Toddler Room
• You MUST hold a full and relevant Early Years and childcare qualification at Level 3 or above
• 40 or 41.5 hours per week

Skills required for Senior Nursery Practitioner:

• Full and relevant NVQ, Cache, NNEB or equivalent LV3 early years qualification or QTS Status
• Good communication skills and proven experience working with Early Years age group
• Be able to lead and work as part a team
• Solid knowledge of the EYFS, safeguarding and Health and Safety
• Experience working in a nursery or school setting
• Commutable via public transport (bus, trains)
• Clear DBS on update service and enhanced

Role Responsibilities include:

• Observe and plan for children following EYFS curriculum
• Live within a 30-45 minute commute daily
• Have experience of leading a team in a nursery/school setting with baby/toddler/preschool age groups
• Build relationships with children and their families
• Maintain health & safety of children and follow safeguarding procedures
