Megalo Recruit is looking for a qualified or unqualified nursery teacher to join a small nursery group in North West London. Salary £24,500 to £30,000pa depending on qualification level and experience.
Job Specification for Nursery Teacher:
- Nursery Teacher salary £24,500pa to £30,000pa, depending upon qualification and experience
- Baby room
- IDEALLY hold a full and relevant Early Years and childcare qualification at Level 2 or above
- 40 hours per week and able to do early (start at 7:30 am) and late shifts (finish at 5 or 6 pm)
Skills required for Nursery Teacher:
- Nursery Teacher ideally must have full and relevant NVQ, Cache, NNEB or equivalent LV2 early years qualification or QTS Status but will accept applications for an experienced unqualified teacher
- Good communication skills and proven experience working with Early Years age group
- Be able to work as part a team
- Solid knowledge of the EYFS, safeguarding and Health and Safety
- Experience working in a nursery or school setting
- Commutable via public transport (bus, trains)
- Clear DBS on update service and enhanced

- Observe and plan for children following EYFS curriculum
- Live within a 30-45 minute commute daily
- Have experience of working in a team in a nursery/school setting with baby/toddler/preschool age groups

- Maintain health & safety of children and follow safeguarding procedures
