Megalo Recruit is looking for qualified level 3 or above Nursery Room Leader/Third in Charge to join a nursery in Bedford, Bedfordshire. Salary £34,000pa.
Job Specification for Nursery Room Leader/Third in Charge:
- Salary £34,000pa depending upon experience
- Baby Room
- You MUST hold a full and relevant Early Years and childcare qualification at Level 3 or above
- 38 hours per week
- Clear DBS on update service and enhanced
Skills required for Nursery Room Leader/Third in Charge:
- Full and relevant NVQ, Cache, NNEB or equivalent LV3 early years qualification or QTS Status
- Good communication skills and proven experience working with Early Years age group
- Be able to lead and work as part a team
- Solid knowledge of the EYFS, safeguarding and Health and Safety
- Experience working in a nursery or school setting

Role Responsibilities include:
- Observe and plan for children following EYFS curriculum
- Live within a 30-45 minute commute daily
- Have experience of leading a team in a nursery/school setting with baby/toddler/preschool age groups
- Build relationships with children and their families
- Maintain health & safety of children and follow safeguarding procedures
