Join this lovely small friendly nursery in the RG7 postcode area, as Nursery Room Leader working with babies. You must have solid baby experience of running a room.

Job Specification for this Nursery Room Leader role include:

AREA: Reading, Wokingham, Bracknell and surrounding areas, with easy access to local buses and trains. Free car parking for drivers.

HOURS: 42.5 hours per week, all year round covering 8am to 6pm.

EXCELLENT Salary of up to £32,000K pa as well as qualifications, experience and knowledge.

Skills required for this Nursery Room Leader role are:-

  • NNEB OR a Full and Relevant Early Education and Childcare qualification (e.g. NVQ/Diploma/BTEC) Level 3 or higher
  • Experience in a Nursery/Early Years setting essential – toddler room preferably
  • Solid knowledge of the EYFS, Safeguarding and Health and Safety
  • Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
  • Liaise with and develop good relationships with parents and staff

The role responsibilities for Nursery Room Leader include:

  • To provide high standards of quality childcare according to the EYFS framework and Ofsted regulations
  • To create a safe and secure environment enabling all children in your care to flourish socially, physically and emotionally
  • Previous Room Leader experience in the baby room
  • To build and maintain strong relationships with parents, carers and outside agencies
  • To plan and implement a range of stimulating, educational and fun activities promoting learning through play
  • Looking for a candidate who can support a team and likes working as a team player
