Opportunity for a L6 Qualified Nursery Practitioner for Pre-school 

Megalo Recruit is looking for qualified level 6 or above Nursery Room Leader to work in the baby room for a nursery in the sW2 area of London. Paying £31,000 to £33,000pa.

Job Specification for Nursery Room Leader:

• Full time contract
• Preschool room
• Overall responsibility of the staff and children
• 7:30-6:30 Monday to Thursday and 7.30-2 Fridays
• 40 hours so shifts of 8/9 hours long to cover the early finish on Friday
• MUST hold a full and relevant Early Years and childcare qualification at Level 6 or Early Years/QTS Teacher status as a minimum requirement
• Must have valid full paediatric first aid
• Clear enhanced child workforce DBS also registered on update

Skills required for Nursery Room Leader:

• Room Leader/Room Manager experience essential
• Experience in the successful leadership of a team and children’s learning outcomes
• Good communication skills and proven experience working with 0-5 age group in a nursery or school setting
• Be able to work as part a team
• Solid knowledge of the EYFS, safeguarding and Health and Safety

• Observe and plan for children following EYFS curriculum
