Nursery Room Leader, working with toddlers – up to £29,000 pa

We are recruiting for a Nursery Room Leader in the South East area of Greater London to be part of this successful Academy group, committed to providing a nurturing and educational environment for children.

You’ll be joining an established and welcoming team leading the Toddler Room. Someone with solid toddler leader experience essential.

Job Specification to include:

Full Time, working a 41 hours a week, all year round, working 8am until 6pm over 4 days; half day off work either work 8am until 1pm OR 1pm until 6pm
Free car parking
Easily accessible by public transport
Experience of working in a nursery/school setting previously at Nursery Room Leader level with toddler aged children
START DATE: ASAP

Nursery Room Leader Role Responsibilities:

Implement Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Curriculum: Planning and delivering a programme of activity for children in the nursery
Building Relationships: Foster connections with children and their families and care-providers
Working as part of a team and led a room with toddler aged children
Safety and Welfare: Maintain health & safety standards and diligently follow safeguarding procedures

Personal Specification:

Qualifications: Qualified Level 3+ – NVQ, Cache, or equivalent
Room Leader experience previously with toddler aged children
Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment
Knowledge: Solid understanding of Early Years Foundation Stage , safeguarding, and health and safety
Communication Skills: Able to liaise and develop relationships with parents, carers and local authorities
Experience: Working with preschool or 1-2s aged children in a nursery, pre-school or school setting

Salary: Excellent salary offered, up to £29,000 pa, contingent upon qualifications, knowledge, and experience in a nursery setting.
