We are recruiting for a Nursery Room Leader in the Ealing postcode area of London, who has a passion for working in a Montessori setting, with children aged 0-5 years old. You’ll be joining a fairly new and welcoming team with other Qualified Nursery Practitioners. The nursery helps to develop and grow children aged 0-5 years.

Job Specification for Nursery Room Leader to include:

Full Time hours working a 40 hour week, all year round, 5 days per week, covering shifts 730am until 6pm, with 1 hr for lunch.
Baby experience essential as a previous Room Leader
Easily accessible by public transport

Nursery Room Leader Role Responsibilities:

Implement Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Curriculum: Planning and delivering a programme of activity for children in the nursery
Building Relationships: Foster connections with children and their families and care-providers
Working as part of a friendly team in toddlers
Safety and Welfare: Maintain health & safety standards and diligently follow safeguarding procedures

Personal Specification:

Qualifications: Qualified Level 3+ – NVQ, Cache, or equivalent
Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment
Knowledge: Solid understanding of Early Years Foundation Stage , safeguarding, and health and safety
Communication Skills: Able to liaise and develop relationships with parents, carers and local authorities
Experience: Working with baby aged children in a nursery, pre-school or school setting

Salary: Excellent salary is from £26,000 pa, depending upon qualifications, knowledge, and experience in an Early Years setting.
