We are recruiting for a Nursery Room Leader in the East London postcode area to be part of this growing Nursery Group, committed to providing a nurturing and educational environment for children. You’ll be joining an established and welcoming team with other qualified Nursery Practitioners. They are looking for someone with baby room leader experience.

Job Specification for Nursery Room Leader to include:

Full Time hours working a 40 hours a week, all year round, covering shifts from 7am until 7pm, 5 days a week
Easily accessible by public transport and DLR
Experience of working in a nursery/school setting previously at Nursery Room Leader level with babies

Nursery Room Leader Role Responsibilities:

Implement Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Curriculum: Planning and delivering a programme of activity for children in the nursery
Building Relationships: Foster connections with children and their families and care-providers
Working as part of a team and led a room with 15 months to 2 years age group
Safety and Welfare: Maintain health & safety standards and diligently follow safeguarding procedures

Personal Specification for Nursery Room Leader role:

Qualifications: Qualified Level 3+ – NVQ, Cache, or equivalent
Room Leader experience previously with babies
Team Player and able to manage a team of nursery practitioners
Knowledge: Solid understanding of Early Years Foundation Stage , safeguarding, and health and safety
Communication Skills: Able to liaise and develop relationships with parents, carers and local authorities
Experience: Working with 2-3-year-old children in a nursery, pre-school or school setting
