Opportunity for a Nursery Practitioner
Megalo Recruit are looking for a qualified Nursery Practitioner to join a nursery setting in West Drayton, London, paying £26,000pa.
Job Specification for the Nursery Practitioner role:
- Salary up to and including £26,000 pa, depending upon role, qualifications, experience
- Room TBA
- MUST hold a full and relevant Early Years and childcare qualification at Level 3 or above
- 40 hours per week
Skills required for the Nursery Practitioner:
- Full and relevant NVQ, Cache, NNEB or equivalent early years LV3 Diploma qualification in the UK or QTS Status
- Good communication skills and proven experience working with Early Years age group
- Be able to work as part a team
- Solid knowledge of the EYFS, safeguarding and Health and Safety
- Experience working in a nursery or school setting
- Commutable via public transport (bus, trains)
- Clear DBS on update service or enhanced

Role Responsibilities include:
- Observe and plan for children following EYFS curriculum
- Live within a 30-45 minute commute daily
- Have experience of leading a team in a nursery/school setting with baby/toddler/preschool age groups
- Build relationships with children and their families
- Maintain health & safety of children and follow safeguarding procedures
