We are recruiting for a Nursery Practitioner Level 3 in the Watford area of Herfordshire to be part of a family run nursery group, committed to providing a nurturing and educational environment for children. You’ll be joining an established and welcoming team with other qualified Nursery Practitioners. The nursery is part of a small group in Hertfordshire, to help develop and grow children aged 0-5 years.

Job Specification for Nursery Practitioner Level 3 to include:

  • Full Time hours working a 40 hour week, all year round, 8/9/10 hour days (flexible) to cover 7.30am-7.00pm
  • Easily accessible by car from Watford, Hemel, Chesham and surrounding areas
  • Free car parking on site
  • Experience of working in a nursery/school setting previously – toddler or preschool experience essential

Nursery Practitioner Level 3 Role Responsibilities:

  • Implement Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Curriculum: Planning and delivering a programme of activity for children in the nursery
  • Building Relationships: Foster connections with children and their families and care-providers
  • Working as part of a team
  • Safety and Welfare: Maintain health & safety standards and diligently follow safeguarding procedures

Personal Specification:

  • Qualifications: Qualified Level 3+ – NVQ, Cache, or equivalent
  • Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment
  • Knowledge: Solid understanding of Early Years Foundation Stage , safeguarding, and health and safety
  • Communication Skills: Able to liaise and develop relationships with parents, carers and local authorities
  • Experience: Working with any aged children in a nursery, pre-school or school setting
