Megalo Recruit are looking to recruit a Level 2 or Level 3, Nursery Practitioner for this small, friendly run nursery, based in a residential area close to Walton-on-Thames, Surrey.
Option of working 3, 4 or 5 days per week, hours depend upon how many days you work, but usually 745am until 6/6.30pm Monday to Friday, all year round, although they do have a changing rota every 2 weeks.
Salary is between £23,000K to £27,000K pa, depending upon qualifications and experience within a nursery setting.
Level 2 or Level 3 Nursery Practitioner skills include:
- Be Qualified Level 2 or Level 3 Nursery Nurse – NNEB, NVQ, Cache, or equivalent in the UK
- Have experience with toddlers or preschool to work in that room
- Good knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage and Safeguarding
- Good interaction with parents and staff essential
- Team Player important
- Able to work 3.4 or 5 full days per week, all year round
Level 2 or Level 3 Nursery Practitioner Role Responsibilities:
- Implement Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Curriculum: Planning and delivering a programme of activity for children in the nursery
- Building Relationships: Foster connections with children and their families and care-providers
- Working as part of a team
- Safety and Welfare: Maintain health & safety standards and diligently follow safeguarding procedures
