Join The Team as a Level 2 or Level 3 Nursery Practitioner

We are recruiting for a Level 2 or Level 3 Nursery  Practitioner close to the Surbiton KT postcode area, to be part of an award-winning nursery committed to providing a nurturing and educational environment for children. You’ll be joining an established and welcoming team with other qualified Nursery Practitioners. The nursery has a strong ethos which centres on an individualised child-first approach. The nursery is committed to holistic approach to education, combining care and sustainability.

Hours will be 40 hours per week all year round, covering 7.30am until 6.15/6.30pm 4 day week with compressed hours or 5 day week shorter hours. Must be flexible to work in either pre-toddlers, toddlers (16-19 months) or preschool room.

Easily commutable from Kingston, New Malden, Thames Ditton, Hampton Court and surrounding areas.

Nursery Practitioner Role Responsibilities:

  • Implement Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Curriculum: Planning and delivering a programme of activity for children in the nursery.
  • Building Relationships: Parents, carers
  • Safety and Welfare: Maintain health & safety standards and diligently follow safeguarding procedures.

Person Specification:

  • Qualifications: Qualified Level 2+ – NVQ, Cache, or equivalent
  • Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment
  • Knowledge: Solid understanding of Early Years Foundation Stage , safeguarding, and health and safety.
  • Communication Skills: Able to liaise and develop relationships with parents, carers and local authorities.
  • Experience: Working with various aged children in a nursery, pre-school or school setting.

Salary: Excellent salary offered,  between £23,000 to £27,000 pa, contingent upon qualifications, knowledge, and experience in a nursery setting.
