Opportunity for Qualified Nursery Practitioners in Reading, Berkshire.

Megalo Recruit is looking for 2 qualified level 2 or above Nursery Practitioner to join a nursery in Reading, Berkshire. Salary from £26,000 pa depending on level/experience. Must be a driver due to remote location.

Job Specification for Nursery Practitioner:

• Salary from £26,000pa
• Nursery Practitioners MUST hold a full and relevant Early Years and childcare qualification at Level 2 or above
• Either 40 hours over 4 days from 7.45 am to 6.15 pm with a half an hour break or 8-hour shifts over Monday to Friday with an hour break.
• OR 38 hours a week, over four days. Shifts are between 7.30 am – 6.00 pm with an hour lunch break,

Skills required for Nursery Practitioner:

• Must have a full and relevant NVQ, Cache, NNEB or equivalent LV3 early years qualification or QTS Status
• Good communication skills and proven experience working with Early Years age group
• Be able to lead and work as part a team
• Solid knowledge of the EYFS, safeguarding and Health and Safety
• Experience working in a nursery or school setting
• Commutable via public transport (bus, trains)
• Clear DBS on update service or enhanced

Role Responsibilities include:

• Observe and plan for children following EYFS curriculum
• Live within a 30-45 minute commute daily
• Have experience with baby/toddler/preschool age groups
• Build relationships with children and their families
• Maintain health & safety of children and follow safeguarding procedures
