We are recruiting for a Level 2 or Level 3 Nursery Practitioner in the Greenwich area of South East London, who has a passion for working with children aged 0-5 years old. You’ll be joining an established and welcoming team with other Qualified Early Years Educators in the 1-2s or 3-5s room. The nursery helps to develop and grow children aged 0-5 years.

Job Specification for Level 2 or Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to include:

Full Time hours working a 40 hour week, all year round, 4.5 days per week, with a half day either working 8-1 or 1-6pm.

Preschool experience essential
Easily accessible by public transport from Greenwich and surrounding areas
Experience of working in a nursery/school setting previously as Nursery Nurse

Level 2 or Level 3 Nursery Practitioner role responsibilities:

Implement Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Curriculum: Planning and delivering a programme of activity for children in the nursery
Building Relationships: Foster connections with children and their families and care-providers
Working as part of a small and friendly team
Safety and Welfare: Maintain health & safety standards and diligently follow safeguarding procedures

Personal Specification:

Qualifications: Qualified Level 2+ – NVQ, Cache, or equivalent
Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively within a small team environment
Knowledge: Solid understanding of Early Years Foundation Stage , safeguarding, and health and safety
Communication Skills: Able to liaise and develop relationships with parents, carers and local authorities
Experience: Working with preschool age group in a nursery, pre-school or school setting
