We are recruiting for a Nursery Nurse in the Gerrards Cross postcode area of Buckinghamshire, who has a passion for working in a nursery setting, with children aged 0-5 years old. You’ll be joining a fairly new and welcoming team with other Qualified Nursery Nurses. The nursery helps to develop and grow children aged 0-5 years.

Job Specification for Nursery Nurse to include:

Full Time hours working an 8 hour day, all year round, 4or 5 days per week, covering shifts 730am until 6.30pm, with 1 hr for lunch.
Nursery experience essential with any age group
Car parking available outside nursery
Easily accessible by car and public transport from Gerrards Cross, Denham, Chalfont St Peter and surrounding areas, close to the town centre

Nursery Nurse Role Responsibilities:

Implement Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Curriculum: Planning and delivering a programme of activity for children in the nursery
Building Relationships: Foster connections with children and their families and care-providers
Working as part of a friendly team in Preschool
Safety and Welfare: Maintain health & safety standards and diligently follow safeguarding procedures

Personal Specification:

Qualifications: Qualified Level 3+ – NVQ, Cache, or equivalent
Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment
Knowledge: Solid understanding of Early Years Foundation Stage , safeguarding, and health and safety
Communication Skills: Able to liaise and develop relationships with parents, carers and local authorities
Experience: Working with 0-5-year-old children in a nursery, pre-school or school setting

Salary: Excellent salary is up to £28,000 pa, depending upon qualifications, knowledge, and experience in an Early Years setting.
