Opportunity for a Qualified Nursery Educator

Megalo Recruit is looking for a qualified level 2 or above Nursery Educator to join a great nursery in Barnet, London. Salary up to £27,800pa with additional pay top up of up to £1,164 bringing salary up to £29,000pa depending on qualification level and experience.

Job Specification for Nursery Educator:

• Nursery Educator salary up to £29,000pa, depending upon qualification and experience
• Preschool room
• MUST hold a full and relevant Early Years and childcare qualification at Level 2 or above
• 40 hours per week

Skills required for Nursery Educator:

• Nursery Educator must have full and relevant NVQ, Cache, NNEB or equivalent LV2 early years qualification or QTS Status
• Good communication skills and proven experience working with Early Years age group
• Be able to work as part a team
• Solid knowledge of the EYFS, safeguarding and Health and Safety
• Experience working in a nursery or school setting
• Commutable via public transport (bus, trains)
• Clear DBS on update service and enhanced

Role Responsibilities include:

• Observe and plan for children following EYFS curriculum
• Live within a 30-45 minute commute daily
• Have experience of working in a team in a nursery/school setting with baby/toddler/preschool age groups
• Build relationships with children and their families
• Maintain health & safety of children and follow safeguarding procedures
