Nursery Deputy Manager
We are recruiting for a term time Nursery Deputy Manager for an outstanding nursery in Stanmore, North West London, paying c. £37,500pa (FTE). You’ll be joining an established and welcoming new team. The nursery has built a strong ethos of an inclusive environment that supports and facilitates the development of children to enable them to reach their full potential.
Job Specification for Nursery Deputy Manager:
- Assist in the management of the nursery working closely with the manager in all areas of staffing and leadership, operations, parent and care responsibilities, room and premises, health and safety, admin, appraisals and reviews of staff
- Proactively contribute to effective team working and foster open and honest communication
- 8am to 3pm Mon to Friday
- 38 weeks per year (3 term year)
- Have knowledge of the Montessori practices
Skills required for Nursery Deputy Manager:
- Must be an experienced Nursery Deputy Manager or Third in Charge for Good or Outstanding setting
- Hold a full and relevant early years qualification L3 or above or QTS Status (must hold GSCE maths equivalent qualification)
- Clear DBS on update service and enhanced
- Current full paediatric first aid
- Good communication skills and proven experience working with Early Years age group
- Solid knowledge of the EYFS, safeguarding and Health and Safety
