Megalo Recruit is looking for a Nursery Deputy Manager to join a nursery in Reading, Berkshire. Salary £31,200-£37,570pa.
Job Specification for Nursery Deputy Manager:
- Full-time, permanent position
- Working 40–42.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
- Salary £31,200-£37,570pa
- Clear DBS on update service and enhanced
- Current full paediatric first aid
Skills required for Nursery Deputy Manager:
- Must be an experienced Nursery Deputy Manager
- Good communication skills and proven experience working with Early Years age group
- Solid knowledge of the EYFS, safeguarding and Health and Safety
- Hold a full and relevant early years qualification L3 or above or QTS Status (must hold GSCE maths equivalent qualification)
Role Responsibilities:
- Assist in the management of the nursery
- Work closely with the manager in all areas of staffing and leadership, operations, parent and care responsibilities, room and premises, health and safety, admin, appraisals and reviews of staff
- Proactively contribute to effective team working and foster open and honest communication
