Opportunity for a L3 qualified Nursery Deputy Manager/Head of Early Years, North London, paying £35,000 to £39,000pa.
Megalo Recruit is looking for a qualified and experienced Nursery Deputy Manager/Head of Early Years to join an early years setting in North London. Excellent pay between £35,000 to £39,000 pa, full time, permanent, 40 hours a week over 5 days.
Job Specification for Nursery Deputy Manager/Head of Early Years:
- Excellent salary £35,000 to £39,000 pa
- Full time, permanent, 5 days a week
- Hold a full and relevant Early Years and childcare qualification at Level 3 or above
- Have good knowledge of pedagogy
Skills required for Nursery Deputy Manager/Head of Early Years:
- Hold a full and relevant NVQ, Cache, NNEB or equivalent early years LV3 Diploma qualification in the UK or QTS Status
- Good communication skills and proven experience working with Early Years age group
- Strong pedagogical background
- Be able to work as part a team and lead a large team
- Enhanced child workforce DBS registered with the update service

Role Responsibilities for Nursery Deputy Manager/Head of Early Years include:
- Observe and plan for children following EYFS curriculum
- Deputise a large team
- Live within a 30-45 minute commute
- Build relationships with children and their families
- Maintain health & safety of children and follow safeguarding procedures
