We are recruiting for a Nursery Cook in the West Sussex postcode area, who has a passion for cooking and ideally has experience in a nursery/school setting, but not essential. Restaurant chef experience will also be considered.

Job Specification for Nursery Cook to include:
- Full Time hours working an 8 hour day, all year round – 8.30am until 5pm
- Nursery experience preferred but not essential
- Car parking available outside nursery
- Easily accessible by car and public transport from Gerrards Cross, Denham, Chalfont St Peter and surrounding areas, close to the town centre
What skills are required for this role ?
- Chef qualification or LV2 Food Hygiene (or willing to do qualification maybe considered)
- Ideally 2 years experience of working in a school or nursery kitchen
- Good knowledge of the UPDATED Early Years Foundation Stage, Safeguarding and Health and Safety
- Previous experience of working within a school kitchen preferred
Personal Specification:
- Working hours are Monday to Friday, all year round, working on a shift pattern basis, 8 hours per day, either 8am-4.30pm or 830am -5pm
- Catering for 30 children per day currently, rising to up to 72 children imminently with start of new term.
- Providing the children with a nutritional, balanced lunch and tea menu.
- You must be ok with a small kitchen environment.
- To cook using fresh ingredients and maintain a high standard of cleanliness in line with the Food Standards Agency.

Salary: Excellent salary is up to £25,000 pa, depending upon qualifications, knowledge, and experience in a nursery/school kitchen.
