**Join us as Nursery Cook – small intimate setting**
Megalo Recruit are looking for a Nursery Cook to work part time hours, in a small, intimate but very friendly setting close to Esher, Surrey. You will need allergen experience in a nursery or school setting, as well as confidence and experience cooking fresh ingredients, working alone in a kitchen.
Job Specification for this Nursery Cook role :
- Nursery Cook with previous experience in a small nursery
- Providing the children with a nutritional, balanced lunch and tea menu.
- You must be ok with a small kitchen environment.
- To cook using fresh ingredients and maintain a high standard of cleanliness in line with the Food Standards Agency.
- 17.5 hours per week working 10am until 1.30pm daily, all year round
- Free parking nearby for drivers. Easily commutable from Esher, and surrounding areas
- Minimum Wage £11.44 per hour
What skills are required for this Nursery Cook role ?
- Chef qualification or LV2 Food Hygiene (or willing to do qualification maybe considered)
- Ideally 2 years experience of working in a school or nursery kitchen
- Good knowledge of Safeguarding and Health and Safety
- Previous experience of working with 0-5s ideally or within a school/nursery kitchen
