Job Specification for a Level 3 Early Years Educator:
- Hold a full and relevant early years qualification at level 3 or above
- Have valid full paediatric first aid
- Clear enhanced child workforce DBS registered on update service

Option 1: Full-Time Early Years Educator
Salary: £25,740–£28,517.08 per annum
Hours: 37.5–40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (7:30am–6:15pm)You will be supporting children from 8 weeks to 14 years old.

Option 2: Term-Time Early Years Educator
Salary: £22,492.80–£24,622.80 per annum (pro rata)
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (9:15am–6:15pm) -
Option 3: Afternoon Early Years Educator
Hours: 12–15 hours per week, Monday to Thursday/Friday (3:00pm–6:00pm)
Skills required for a Level 3 Early Years Educator:
- Experience working in Early Years, supporting children with a range of needs and abilities.
- Strong understanding of child development, the EYFS framework, safeguarding, SEN and inclusion.
- Ability to provide high-quality care and create engaging learning experiences.
- Caring, positive and collaborative team player with strong communication skills.
- Able to follow guidance while showing initiative and working independently when required.
Role Responsibilities include:
- Create a safe, engaging environment that supports children’s learning and development.
- Lead activities and contribute to planning routines that meet children’s individual needs.
- Act as a key person, supporting children’s care, development and learning records.
- Build positive relationships with parents, carers and colleagues, sharing updates on children’s progress.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safeguarding and health & safety.
