Join The Team as a Level 2 or Level 3 Nursery Practitioner

We are recruiting for a Level 2 or Level 3 Nursery Practitioner in the Finchley postcode area of North West London to work in a fairly new nursery, in the baby room. You’ll be joining an established and welcoming team with other qualified Nursery Practitioners. The nursery is a ‘one off’ nursery in NW London, to work with any age group.

Job Specification for Level 2 or Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to include:

Full Time hours working a 40 hour week, all year round, to cover 7.30am-6.30pm, on a shift pattern, working 4 longer days with a day off
Easily accessible by public transport and car parking close to nursery
Baby experience essential
Experience of working in a nursery/school setting previously at Nursery Practitioner

Level 2 or Level 3 Nursery Practitioner Role Responsibilities:

Implement Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Curriculum: Planning and delivering a programme of activity for children in the nursery
Building Relationships: Foster connections with children and their families and care-providers
Working as part of a team
Safety and Welfare: Maintain health & safety standards and diligently follow safeguarding procedures

Personal Specification:

Qualifications: Qualified Level 2+ – NVQ, Cache, or equivalent
Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively within a small team environment
Outdoor based with children aged 0-5 years old
Knowledge: Solid understanding of Early Years Foundation Stage , safeguarding, and health and safety
Communication Skills: Able to liaise and develop relationships with parents, carers and local authorities
Experience: Working with 0-5-year-old children in a nursery, pre-school or school setting

Salary: Excellent salary offered, from £26,000+ pa, depending upon qualifications, knowledge, and experience in an Early Years setting.
