We are recruiting for a Level 2 or Level 3 Nursery Practitioner in the Guildford postcode area of Surrey, who has a passion for working with children aged 0-5 years old. You’ll be joining an established and welcoming team with other Qualified Nursery Practitioners. The nursery helps to develop and grow children aged 0-5 years.

Job Specification for Level 2 or Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to include:

Full Time hours working a 40 hour week, all year round, 5 days per week, covering shifts 8am until 6pm, with 1 hr for lunch. Any age group experience is considered
Easily accessible by car and public transport from Guildford and surrounding areas, close to the town centre
Experience of working in a nursery/school setting previously as Practitioner

Level 2 or Level 3 Nursery Practitioner Role Responsibilities:

Implement Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Curriculum: Planning and delivering a programme of activity for children in the nursery
Building Relationships: Foster connections with children and their families and care-providers
Working as part of a friendly team
Safety and Welfare: Maintain health & safety standards and diligently follow safeguarding procedures

Personal Specification:

Qualifications: Qualified Level 2+ – NVQ, Cache, or equivalent
Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment
Knowledge: Solid understanding of Early Years Foundation Stage , safeguarding, and health and safety
Communication Skills: Able to liaise and develop relationships with parents, carers and local authorities
Experience: Working with 0-5-year-old children in a nursery, pre-school or school setting

Salary: Excellent salary offered between £22,500 to £25,000 pa, depending upon qualifications, knowledge, and experience in an Early Years setting.
