Early Years Teacher – Ascot, Berkshire

We are now recruiting for an experienced Early Years Teacher!

To work in this ‘Outstanding’ Nursery in the Ascot postcode area.

Term Time Only OR All Year Round option available.

Join our dedicated team as an Early Years Teacher and play a vital role in providing a nurturing and educational environment for children. We are seeking a passionate individual with experience in childcare and early childhood education to contribute to the growth and development of young learners.

Hours for this Early Years Teacher role:

Monday to Friday working either term time only 38 weeks, plus 4 weeks, or all year round, on a shift pattern covering 8am until 6pm. You usually work 4.5 days out of 5 when working full time.

Early Years Teacher Role Responsibilities:

  • Implement Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Curriculum: Planning and delivering a programme of activity for children in the nursery
  • Building Relationships: Foster connections with children and their families and care-providers
  • Working as part of a friendly team with any age group
  • Safety and Welfare: Maintain health & safety standards and diligently follow safeguarding procedures

Personal Specification:

  • Qualifications: Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS) or above
  • Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment
  • Knowledge: Solid understanding of Early Years Foundation Stage , safeguarding, and health and safety
  • Communication Skills: Able to liaise and develop relationships with parents, carers and local authorities
  • Experience: Previous experience working with 3-5-year-old children in a nursery, pre-school or school setting

Qualifications:

– Previous experience working with preschool aged children in a nursery setting
– At least 1 year’s experience working with preschool children
– YOU MUST HOLD AN EYTS, NVQ or Cache Level 3 Diploma in Childcare or equivalent
– Knowledge of safeguarding, health & safety essential
– Good communication skills.

Salary : Up to £28,000 pa, depending upon experience and qualifications.
