Opportunity for a qualified Early Years Preschool/Pre reception Teacher

Megalo Recruit is looking for an early years qualified level 6 or above Preschool Teacher to join a nursery school in South West London. Salary in the region of £35,000 pa.

Job Specification for Early Years Preschool Teacher:

• Full time all year round role working 40 hours a week Monday to Friday
• Must have several years experience teaching preschool ages 2-4
• MUST hold a full and relevant early years qualification at level 6 or early years teacher status
• Have valid full paediatric first aid
• Clear enhanced child workforce DBS registered on update service

Skills required for Early Years Preschool Teacher:

• Supports and leading the learning in the preschool nursery (ages 2-4)
• Guides and supports its early years practitioners
• Provides a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment for children
• Good communication skills
• Be able to work as part a team
• Solid knowledge of the EYFS, safeguarding and Health and Safety

Role Responsibilities include:

• Curriculum and planning aligned with EYFS
• Supporting individual child development goals
• Assessment and monitoring
• Safeguarding and welfare
• Parental and agency partnerships
• Team collaboration
