Opportunity for a Qualified Nursery Practitioner (Full Time or Part Time permanent role)

Megalo Recruit is looking for qualified level 3 or above Preschool Nursery Practitioner to join a private school in Guildford, Surrey. Salary up to £14.50ph

Job Specification for Nursery Practitioner:

Full-time or part-time positions available throughout the year
Monday-Friday (shift patterns will vary between 7:15am-18:15pm)
Hold a full and relevant early years qualification at level 3 or above
Have valid full paediatric first aid
Clear enhanced child workforce DBS registered on update service

Skills required for Nursery Practitioner:

Proven experience working in Early Years education, supporting children with a range of needs and abilities
Strong knowledge of child development and the EYFS framework, with a commitment to safeguarding, health & safety, SEN and inclusion
Ability to deliver consistently high-quality care and engaging learning experiences for all children
Caring, approachable and positive team player who works well collaboratively and contributes constructively
Able to follow guidance while also using initiative and working independently when needed

Role Responsibilities include:

Create a stimulating environment that supports play and learning
Lead group activities and help plan daily routines for children’s needs
Act as a key person, supporting care, progress, and learning journals
Communicate with parents and staff about progress and daily care
Maintain a safe, clean environment, following safeguarding and health & safety procedures
