Opportunity for a Childcare Deputy Manager
Megalo Recruit is looking for a Childcare Deputy Manager to join a nursery in Maidenhead, Berkshire. Salary £14.00-£18.50ph. Term time only or All Year round.
Job Specification for a Childcare Deputy Manager:
- Assist in the management of the nursery working closely with the manager in all areas of staffing and leadership, operations, parent and care responsibilities, room and premises, health and safety, admin, appraisals and reviews of staff
- Proactively contribute to effective team working and foster open and honest communication
- Term Time Only: 18.75 hours/week (2:45 pm – 6:30 pm, Mon–Fri)
- Continue with afternoon hours during term time, with increased hours during school holidays. Holiday hours will consist of 8–8.5 hour shifts between 8:15am–5:45pm.
Skills required for Childcare Deputy Manager:
- Must have NVQ Level 3 in childcare (or equivalent)
- Solid knowledge of the EYFS, safeguarding and Health and Safety
- Clear DBS on update service and enhanced
- Current full paediatric first aid
- Good communication skills and proven experience working with Early Years age group
