I started work for Megalo Recruit after relocating to a new area and looking to start work quickly; I thought agency work would be the best temporary option. I soon realised I enjoyed the placements, pay rate, and consistency of work too much for this job to just be temporary. The recruitment process was very quick and straight forward, and Kate ensured to find me a placement the day after becoming compliant to work. Not only was I able to choose when to work but I was also given options of establishments available for me to work in. Kate was very considerate when finding me suitable placements, taking into account all details even down to ensuring there is free parking available to me on site. The management is what surprised me most about Megalo. I had been used to working for agency’s where I was managed by multiple people, spent hours on hold to the call centres waiting to speak to someone, and most of all left feeling like just a number rather than a valued member of staff. My experience with Megalo is that they take as much care for their staff as they do for their clients.
